It's a weird situation. I'm coming in here in such a short time. It takes a couple practices to get your timing down. I got my start on it today. You could tell I was rusty. But I don't mind getting thrown in there. It's not too hard being a punter. It's not like I have to learn plays.

I had a great time working with him. We would take a lot of takes to try things out.

In America we're looking for future stars and we're coming up short a bit, ... There is so much now to choose from. In the '70s (when Evert was the No. 1 player) we didn't have women's basketball and soccer. A lot of our great athletes are going into other sports. But worldwide tennis has made a big jump.

Fortunately, in my position, I don't have to learn plays or new formations ? it's just catch it and kick it. That's pretty universal throughout the league, ... So I'll just keep doing what I've been doing for 15 years. It's just a different venue, different city.

We had more interaction in practices before coming here and J.J. wanted other guys to take shots.

It has been a long time coming for us and we have worked hard. It is great to play in meaningful games like this. First place in the Big Ten feels good.
