It's almost an unwritten rule. I'm not going to play a rock beat and he's not going to play a power chord. It's just not going to happen in this band. We could completely change our minds tomorrow and have a video and try and go on the Warped Tour. But I don't think we will.

We want to set a tone, a battle level so they know coming in that we play hard every game and they get discouraged about getting any advantage against us.

It's a play we've run all season, a zone quick-hitting play. It blew open fairly well, but we mishandled for just a split second and that took us out of the play we wanted.

We need to prepare well, we need to play well. This is a big game for (Memorial). We know that. It's a big game. It's the final stage of an inner-city rivalry and we're really focused on the fact that it's a district game. There's a lot of interest because of the magnitude of the game. It really makes it fun.

We don't have a district to play in, and sometimes it seems like we don't even have a region to play in. But our goal is to go out there and win every game. They want to put up all these obstacles against us, but we're going to fight to take them down.

I'm willing to lead this team by my play. I know I've got to step it up.
