It's always been about the team. I'm extremely proud of this team. Not many kids can say they've been part of 43 wins in two years. ... The great thing about athletics is it teaches us lessons about life. Today was a tough lesson.

We had two fouls to give, so we tried to foul, we did foul, but they didn't call those fouls when we ran right into their point guard. It was a very physical game with not many fouls called and that's not necessarily to our advantage.

We can play with anyone when we are playing our game.

I tell my girls don't talk it, walk it. Talk is nice but we have to get it done on the floor. We use that mentality and it is how we approach the game.

I was really impressed with the team play and unselfishness. Everybody stepped up on defense as a team tonight.

I think Frank has looked as good as any of our kids have ever looked. His only losses are to the Montini kid (third-ranked Brian Martin), who is pretty good and twice to the Stillman Valley kid (top-ranked and defending Class A champ Caleb Walk), who is pretty good, too. It's taken some good kids to beat him.
