It's amazing. I don't know if the kids are just bigger and stronger than they were when I played 20 years ago, but throw-ins are just way more part of the game today than I've ever seen.

We finished the season exactly the way we started it. The kids really wanted this, and it showed in their play. We were focused on getting to this point.

The kids respond to him. He's definitely our leader.

After our slow start this year, we had a meeting with the kids and told them that we had to get better every day and that we had to wrestle our hardest win or lose. They have responded and we are certainly doing that. There will be some more tight matches coming up and wrestling here (Paulsboro) is good experience. Our kids battled, all the way up and down the lineup.

Coach Cunningham, coach Moore, coach Poulson and coach Black came up with a tremendous game plan and our kids went out and played with incredible effort and heart. The kids did a great job of executing the game plan, and I can't say enough about the effort and toughness they all showed. This is the kind of defense that championship teams are built on.

I knew they were a good team. But they're not ranked and that's what the kids look at.
