I don't believe this governor has brought many businesses into this state.

Ron Saxton's never won a political race. The only government experience he has was as the chairman of the Portland School Board.

Saxton figures he finished third in the 2002 race because he wasn't conservative enough. He's bringing this up because he thinks it appeals to the ultraconservatives.

He's got new opposition in the May primary, so he is trying to step up his game and trying to show some leadership.
