It's an absurd version of the modus operandi.

At the time, there was talk in Germany of placing a statute of limitation on the prosecution of Nazis. It seems Israel wanted to send a message to discourage that.

In espionage, like in police work, there is nothing better than having a woman accomplice on hand. If you are on a stakeout ? say, waiting in a car ? and have a lady with you, you are far less likely to be questioned.

The modus operandi is entirely wrong.

Why, look at me. I've worked my way up from nothing to a state of extreme poverty.
