It's an honor. An honor. I'm grateful for the whole experience. It's validating.

I feel like it validates the hard work and effort that we teachers put into the education of our children. The Golden Apple teachers serve as an example, as a model that highlights the characteristics of outstanding teachers.

Oh my God! You won this, we won!

I want them to learn about community in my class, and I want them to believe in themselves. I want them to learn the value of volunteer work and that they can make a difference.

I like learning to be as real and meaningful as possible. A lot of lessons come out of the habitat area.

It's a real honor and a really cool experience.
