It's an issue everywhere. There has been a cutback in fast-food advertisements for children and schools are starting to remove soda from the machines and replace it with things like Gatorade.

Islamic children should go to state schools and learn Italian, ... I do not want ghettos. Rather, I want an Italian Islam.

We have to be absolutely vigilant that those children aren't fleeing those schools,

And eventually, if the children in the two schools start to see themselves as a whole unit – less (as) competing schools and more of a school community and family – it will help make for easier transitions when they come together in middle school.

There are a lot of children in our schools who would really benefit from getting the sense that adults in society value them and their potential and want to help them succeed.

We saw it done at other high schools and we thought it would be really fun.
