It's an open election. Anyone can run. I think I've done a great job representing the people. They've had confidence in me in the past. I've always supported economic and community development.

We welcome the fact that someone else will want to serve the public. I welcome the people getting choices. I think my record is pretty good. I love being able to serve the people. I represent the community and I'm proud of what I've done.

Aside from that, we were very strong. Obviously the confidence levels are up, and it's starting to show in the routines.

For if you train hard and responsibly your confidence surges to a maximum.

Ever since I came to camp, I tried to show people I can win a spot. This year, I just took it day by day, outing by outing. I focused on the mitt and kept it simple. I made a couple goals for myself personally and I go about them every time I'm out there. They are: throw strikes and attack.

This decision is too important to make in private. This is going to affect a lot of people.
