It's awesome. My parents have sacrificed so much for me. Growing up, they've basically been driving us back and forth to different sporting events. I feel like they didn't have a life, because it was all about us.

As a kid growing up you watch those teams. Then you're there and think ?wow, this is amazing.' But then you have to go out there and play.

In many ways, this is like the child growing up and taking care of its parents.

I was fortunate growing up on the farm. My parents were very understanding and backed me up all the way. They understood how important sports were to me.

When I was growing up, my parents said to go to college and get a good job and then go try this. I didn't do that. I struggled for 10 years. My best advice is go to college and study for a trade or career, that is always something you can fall back on.

Even when things were tough growing up, it's what really kept us together.
