It's become increasingly apparent that the law has become unpopular.

Young people should not be doubly punished for a single misstep. Students who are forced to drop out of school are more likely to abuse drugs. Providing continued access to education is the best way to ensure they become productive taxpaying members of society.

They should be allowed to stay in school so they can become productive, tax-paying members of society. If they drop out, it's more likely they'll live in the streets and become drug addicts.

Students are already suffering the consequences through probation, fines, criminal record and punishment through their own schools.

A law that very specifically said no state can give in-state tuition to illegal aliens unless that state gives in-state tuition to all U.S. citizens, regardless of where they come from.

This is required by law. Under the current teacher requirement rules, if you're retired, you're retired. If you come back, you lose your benefits. If you're in an area deemed in a shortage, you can come back to the classroom without losing your retirement benefits.
