It's been a big job. We've committed hundreds of people to the project, and it has affected everything from engineering to marketing.

We can provide incentives for people to graduate in math and science and engineering and the different kind of technological industries that we need them to graduate in.

In software engineering, I can get all of these wonderful tools developed by brilliant people for free. In some cases, the real innovation occurs in the open-source world. I really believe hardware design has the potential to become just another software-engineering process.

I figured I needed to learn engineering or learn Russian. Now people aren't concerned with taking our freedom. They want to take our jobs, and we're not competing against the Russians. We're competing against everyone.

People are definitely getting more used to them. The engineering community is really beginning to embrace them.

My assessment is that each of the three principal people involved sought to bring the process to a reasonable conclusion. Individual perceptions differ somewhat, but the facts remain consistent.
