It's been a real special bond with those two guys. They told me after we won it last year that this was going to be my going-away present. There were a few times we wondered about it, but we did persevere.

I told the guys that something good would come of this. We worked our butts off.

For me, 1995 was a special year, not only because I won but because it was Arnold Palmer's last Open and this year it's Jack's. It's very emotional for many players.

I think the legacy is what it is. We've won 14 straight [division titles]. We know how special that is. We're going to keep doing our thing whether we win or lose in the postseason. It's not going to change the fact that we've won 14 straight division titles.

I came off the field and told Timmy (Rattay), 'Did I just play special teams right now?' ... Guys were yelling at me, 'Cody, what are you doing?' I just pretended like I didn't hear them, because I didn't have an answer for them.

We've been down that much in the past, but not this year. But I told the guys, it's a full game and you have to keep playing defense and stay true to it and the shots will fall.
