It's bitterly disappointing but I've been told there's no chance of me making the Scotland games. I was really looking forward to them after our great results against Italy and Norway.

I've been in tough situations. I've lost games before; we all have. We just have to keep our head high and continue to grind it out and try to improve. If you let the last one hold you down, you're going to lose the next one, too.

If I had my choice, all the games would be exactly like that.

We heard about the Norway goal as we were eating on Saturday, so that was hard to take,

It's not that I don't want to play for the national team. That's always been great. But I just think it would be fairer to allow younger players a chance for the longer term. There are a few doing well and coming through, although it would be unfair for me to name them and perhaps put pressure on them. That's for the manager to say.
