It's come down to the fact that they weren't doing the best job managing events with alcohol.

Any alcohol, any type of drug is not allowed on campus -- anywhere on the campus, period.

It's important to have a law enforcement presence around residence halls because it creates a safe environment for students. Also, anyone that would want to impose illegal activity in the halls, they will see the area is being protected.

We have a very, very small amount of vehicle incidents on our streets.

We take safety and security very seriously, especially when we have 60,000-plus people in one area.

I think at events like this, they expect alcohol to be there.
