It's done wonders for her.

When she gets to college, she'll be more of a perimeter player, but right now, we need her inside. She draws people to her defensively and that opens things up for others.

I think she's learned how to carry out the strategy. It's all about maturity. In the past, she didn't have the mental strength to overcome adversity. Last year, when she didn't get help against Lauren (Jimenez), Christy got a little frustrated. But she's become a leader, both on and off the court. The growth in every aspect of her life over the last two years has been incredible.

You don’t have to do the same things you’ve always done, if it no longer feels good to do them. Give yourself permission to try something different, something new. Give yourself permission to break away from routine and obligation. Permission to explore, and to soar.
