It's every right under the First Amendment and North Carolina statutes to inform voters how their legislators actually vote in Raleigh.

Neither our actions as trustees, nor the court's decision, deprived Jane Pope of so much as a dime that she was entitled to. If Jane Pope appeals the court's decision, we are confident that the Superior Court and appellate courts will reach the same decision, because the law and the facts remain the same.

Our family has worked hard and benefited from America's free-enterprise system, and we want to make sure that the benefits of a democracy with a free-market economy are there for everyone's benefit and for future generations.

Obviously, I think it's very important we find the right person for the job and there's some good candidates out there. I think we'll find the right person. I think anybody who's in ownership or even somebody who's from a club, it's a little bit of a long shot to get the others to go along that this is the right guy. That's another reason it's unlikely.

There are a lot of issues in town right now that we could be working on.

One problem we have is depth. We have a big drop between the first, second and third teams right now.
