It's frustrating. There's nothing good I can really say to the girls right now to make them feel better. We gave it our best shot, but the ball wouldn't go down for us in the first half, and that proved to be too big of a hole to climb out of.

Katie's our leader, and it did hurt us when she went out. Everybody looks to her to handle the basketball. They did a good job of turning up the pressure when she went out, and it made a difference in the game.

We took off the first half. We didn't start playing until the second. We were well-prepared, we just didn't execute.

We got a lot of contributions with five in double figures. The girls were looking for each other, and we had a lot of assists. It was a well-played game on both sides.

We certainly appreciate everyone's right to an opinion. Colonel Sanders was one of Kentucky's most distinguished citizens, a great entrepreneur and a fine charitable man of faith, and he certainly has a place in Kentucky history. We believe he warrants appropriate recognition as such.

The girls showed a lot of heart. They really stepped up the pressure on them (D-A) in the fourth quarter.
