It's fun to stop writing songs for awhile and get out on the road,

We learned a verse of this and that and we were having fun with the songs. Tommy would make up stories to go along with them and I would yell at him, 'Hey, stupid, that's not right,' and he was like a silly kid trying to impress.

It's fun. I like singing and making up my own songs about stuff.

Some of the songs I have completely forgotten about. It's a lot of fun to go and revisit them.

It's definitely fun to tinker with songs, see how much you plug in there before it gets muddy and unnecessary. I don't think we intentionally try to layer, I think it's just what sounds right. Not sure there's one way to tell when a song is done. Some seem to finish themselves almost immediately. Some I don't think will ever be finished and still drive me a little crazy when I hear them on the record.

It's going to be a fun road trip, we're getting to stop in Vegas so we're all looking forward to going out. We're going to ring in the New Year there. We're going to try not to lose him in a poker game.
