It’s going to take a community to rebuild this community.

Baptist-Lutheran has served as an important part of the community for many years and will continue to serve it's outpatient needs moving forward. Ninety percent of patients who visit Baptist-Lutheran utilize its outpatient services, which is why those services will remain open.

One of his strengths going into that job is his ability to get into the community. So much of what we do is having that support, not just in the alumni but with the corporate community. He really does a fantastic job of following through with those partners and making the relationship a win-win for both.

He felt it was important for young men to be involved in community activities ... that taught them a lot of important things in business, teamwork and sportsmanship.

I hope if we're in that situation, that somebody would look at us as a small community and offer us help.

The religious community needs to know what's going on, so they can make changes starting with their churches.
