It's good to have her back there manning the defense.

She saw a lot of shots on the varsity level at practice last year. She's working on some things and getting more comfortable in the cage and the speed of play. It's a work in progress, but she's doing fine.

We have a great group of girls returning and I am very pleased on how the newcomers are stepping in and contributing right away.

We have a good crop of kids returning from last year's team. I'd love to have an opportunity to get back in that environment, for sure. Absolutely, I think we can. Field hockey is a crazy sport, anything can happen. We just have to take care of what we need to do and win the games we should. It's going to be difficult. There are a lot of strong teams in our division.

We had to battle for this one. We went ahead, then they went ahead. It was a good character builder.

We picked it up into a different gear as far as our defense goes. The kids just stepped up, put some pressure on (Dickinson) and forced some turnovers.
