It's great after a year away from the Swedish Match Tour to come back and be in the hunt.

It's tough to match what the tour wants with what the publisher wants.

We're still working on it. We've just been on a mammoth hunt for a singer. Because of the singers the three of us have had in the past, it's sort of a big thing to measure anybody by. As for the music itself, it's a really weird cross between northern soul, reggae, New Order, Stones Roses and the Smiths. The three basses work together on a few tracks, which I was delighted about, because everyone was laughing at us for wanting to do it.

There are two times of the year that stir the blood. In the fall, for the hunt, and now for lacrosse.

I think by far it was the toughest outing for one of our goaltenders. The Swedish team is so skilled. ... They move to areas well, they put pucks into areas, and they create opportunities through space and moving the puck. It's tough to defend that way ... and when we had breakdowns, he made saves.

We've been married, this'll be our 10th year, so I guess we've traveled on tour for 10 years. She's always been out with me -- and the kids -- when I've been working. It's just part of the program to us.
