It's great just to see Doc back on the mound. Obviously what happened with A.J. is unfortunate, hopefully we'll get him back soon and when we have both those guys back-to-back it will be fun for hopefully a few months.

In a situation like that, we need to get as many runs as possible. Obviously, one run is not going to be enough.

Yeah, it looked like it was a good pitch. He hit his spot and obviously you think the catcher is going to set up over the plate and he hit his spot and unfortunately the umpire saw it differently.

It's unfortunate this happened. Why it happened, I don't know, but it did happen, and I don't think he should be rewarded for what he's done.

This could not have happened at a more unfortunate time.

Obviously, the stuff is better. I think the aggressiveness out on the mound is a little bit different. And I think, in terms of game day, you can see the intensity in his eyes. He really understands where he's at with these games down the stretch.
