It's great we have passed last year's gross on the third day of the sale. It shows that the market continues to grow. The median is phenomenal. This sale is just a continuation of November. People came here to buy and sell horses.

The sale continues to roll along. It's very successful in all categories and just a continuation of the November and September sale. There is a lot of discretionary income right now.

We also did our normal direct marketing to trainers in Florida, Arkansas, and California.

There was a very international contingent of buyers here from Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, South America, and Mexico. These countries, in conjunction with the Kentucky Thoroughbred Association, have made an effort to visit as part of an emerging markets initiative. We are building relationships with horsemen in these markets, and they are coming to central Kentucky because it is the horse capital of the world.

The January sale has come of age. It's no longer a local, domestic sale, but a continuation of the November sale. There was a very international contingent of buyers here from Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, South America and Mexico.

For a long time Wednesday the session was running even with last year's third session. The end of the session helped.
