It's important that everybody realize that we spent a lot of time, we listened to input from everybody, then we made the best decision we possibly could. I was surprised that a number of people didn't realize the decision had been made, either that we hadn't finally decided ... or that we were going back and rethinking everything.

It sounds like something I would strongly support, but looking ahead six years from now, when we have it K-5 in every school in the county, will we be able to afford it?

Also, you can get the type of bait you should use depending on the time of year. Colder is better for smallmouth [bass], and warmer is better for largemouth. Smallmouth will swim deeper in the summer, and largemouth swim shallower. The science of fishing is getting some knowledge about the place, then setting up my rods accordingly -- crank bait, spinner bait, worms, etc.

Best case scenario it'll come out a little bit at a time and go on down the river. Worst case, it's going to take everything out in between on its way down.
