It's just a way to give something back to the community and we think it gets a good message to our community.

We need to alert the community to a critical blood shortage. Hospitals across the state are requesting more units of blood to meet the needs of accident, surgical and cancer patients.

I'm not sure that the meek will inherit the earth. I don't know if it is the community I'm in or the lack of time we seem to have in today's world, but I often see aggressive people with no time for anybody and the desire to get ahead in the work force, with no regard to anyone else.

That's what made the difference to me. It's become more and more of a community event.

There is more of a diverse group in The Gulch than anywhere else in Nashville. It's an interesting, alive community and ICON is the first of many changes down there.

We are a partner in this. We want it to go well for the community.
