It's just cool to have all these family connections and all the memories. From when I hear my uncle and my dad talk about playing at Johnston, it's just cool to see all the years represented.

I have so many memories, both at Stanford and in the coaching profession in general, ... I have been honored to have coached some of the finest athletes in the world, and we've competed at the very highest levels intercollegiately and internationally. But, many of my memories simply revolve around the experience of working with student-athletes on a daily basis. That has been as big of a thrill as anything.

It was a great accomplishment for everyone. This is a starting point for next year. The seniors started it. We want it to be an expectation year in and year out for Johnston basketball.

On the last possession, we all looked at ourselves and said if we play the best defense we have played all year and don't let them score, there is no way we can lose.

I did a little prayer while I was up there. I was just focused on the form and knew it was going to go in. I wasn't going to miss it for my team, for my senior year.

We knew the whole time we could play with them. We wanted to pound it inside, kick it back, and keep their defense working. That's what we started doing early in the game.
