It's kind of hard with the kids, and it's bad with him being gone. We went through some teenage trial and error this summer.

When I grew up, I listened to older stuff too, ... My own kids went through their teenage raving stuff. Then, in the last two or three years, my daughter started playing Ella Fitzgerald and Muddy Waters. There's something about music. When you like it, you want to find out where it came from.

The thing that pleases me the most about it is that young people like it. It's given kids from 6 to 16 an alternate view of music to what's been available for the past 20 years.

Our kids need to really concentrate on the little ones. If you have $500 here and $1,000 there, it really adds up.

We have a good crop of kids returning from last year's team. I'd love to have an opportunity to get back in that environment, for sure. Absolutely, I think we can. Field hockey is a crazy sport, anything can happen. We just have to take care of what we need to do and win the games we should. It's going to be difficult. There are a lot of strong teams in our division.
