It's more common than you'd think, unfortunately. In the waters of Hampton Roads, we probably lose six to eight people a year.

He is, to me, a very likable individual with a very engaging and outgoing personality. I think that - and the fact that everybody gets a honeymoon - has given him a remarkable beginning.

He has run his race.

We are on the bubble. Unfortunately, now we're in this position where let's say there's six, seven, eight slots available and 10 or 12 teams fighting for those spots. The frustrating thing for us is we can't control it. We're at the mercy of other people, which is uncomfortable, but I'm hopeful we've done enough to merit consideration.

Obviously, there's a number of teams, six to eight teams, that probably spent more than other teams to keep their players. So, yeah, you definitely lose that. But I think everybody is on the same playing field, and I think as the years go down, (there will be) issues and uncertainty for everybody. There's so much player movement.

He'll probably need six to eight stitches in the lip, but that's about the way the ball has bounced for us this year.
