It's nice to give them an opportunity to have some input and really do something, something that low-income people often don't get the opportunity to do.

We are going to build what these people think would be useful and beautiful. They are going to be the design team, and I am going to facilitate their work. My job in part is to keep them within a budget ... and tailor the project to the things that they actually can do.

The summit, which is set up to educate people about managing their money and protecting their income, leads to empowerment of self, for which this summit needs to be applauded.

I think that it is an excellent opportunity for all the students, and especially for the lower income students and middle income family kids to get to go somewhere. It is also a perfect opportunity for students that are not the academic stars to shine in front of their peers.

We're going to have a lot of people get an opportunity early to see if they can handle this level.
