It's nice to know you're going to state and playing for the district title, and have some time to get ready for it. I'm real proud of the kids, especially for this group of seniors. It's the biggest win they've had in their careers as a group.

Dylan hit three 3-pointers in the period and had five for the game. We controlled the game from the second quarter.

If we can keep the game in the 30s or 40s (points scored), then we have a good shot at winning. If it gets in the 50s or 60s, we're probably not going to win. Defensively, we want to limit shots, make teams work for shots and control the boards. Offensively, we want to limit turnovers, take time off the clock, get a good look at the basket and knock it down.

If we can make it to Saturday, that means we'll take home a trophy. Any combination it takes to get to Saturday is fine with us.

At times, we stopped playing as a team. They attacked us hard in the first half and really hurt us on the boards. We did a better job in the second half, but by then we were in a hole.

It was a battle back and forth, like a heavyweight fight, with each of us taking our shots. My hat's off to Toledo. Tonight we just fought for it and did the little things a little bit better.
