It's not as easy as just throwing a recreational team together. We all fund our hockey differently.

I'm surprised a lot of the guys didn't make it. But it's not an easy team to make and we already had three representatives, so I'm sure that played into it. If they were on different teams and they were having the years they are having, I'm sure they'd be on it. I'm sure they would love to be on it, but in the big picture I know what they are worried about and that's helping our team win.

I'm not dumb enough to be a goalie.

We were very interested in making this happen, but we just couldn't do it. All of us will survey kids in the spring and early fall.

It just became real clear that we were looking at eight to 12 girls, and we didn't feel comfortable that we could make it go (for next season).

It's not like it's a skyscraper in the middle of a subdivision. They all blend together.
