It's not good to dig in the past, raise the ghost up from the grave, and have it walk with the flesh.

This I would wish, that there was no time or sleep. No more past, or future, and everything we did was good the first time, for the day. Without the need of looking back to learn from the past, and no future to hope for the better. No more tiredness, or having a need to dream, and no nightmares to fear. If there was a second time, this is how I would like to start over.

Burning bridges behind you is understandable. It's the bridges before us that we burn, not realizing we may need to cross, that brings regret.

My body is howling like a graveyard, for all those wrong choices haunt me.

You carry your country with you, it's part of your baggage.

You can't lift a relationship up if you keep walking over the other person's mistakes.
