It's official. I don't want to come off as cocky, but I kind of halfway expected it. When I actually heard it for the first time, it was just relief.

I think in a lot of ways, I've responded to a lot of things this year kind of like a rookie ¿ as far as appreciating things. I've been around a lot, but you can appreciate things a little bit differently when you've been away. It's a different Opening Day than I've experienced in the past, just because of where I've had to come from.

I don't think our team was ever cocky. But you kind of get casual. When we went to the Wyoming tournament, we were picked to win, and we kind of got casual.

Actually, it went better than I expected. I was a little apprehensive. I wasn't real excited when I saw it was a TV game. But it went OK. Tomorrow's going to be a big test for me to see how it feels.

Whether you have to go to Groveland or Timbuktu, ... there should always be an official. It's tough to find volunteers.

When you are as great as I am it is hard to be humble.
