It's one of the most authentic curriculum experiences that prepares students for career choices and college prep. Even if they decide not to pursue it, they still retain the job skills.

We advise and mentor students on finances, career choices, anything — they stay as long as they like,

We want everything to be hands-on. The curriculum should be alive for the students, instead of flat ... They are challenged, but they're able to express themselves and think outside of the box and really understand topics in depth.

By focusing on more rigorous curriculum, we'll get students with better test scores.

Anybody who did anything that was negative to a group, any label, those were the (T-shirts) that we collected. Any shirts that were positive, did not name (a group) and were not negative or offensive to a group were allowed to stay on campus.

So many of our kids grew up in the district, so our kids came to us well prepared ... Dry Creek and Eureka and Roseville City (school districts) do a good job.
