It's one of the most deliciously bad films. I've always wanted to do a stage version of it.

We didn't take any direct lines, so we're completely aboveboard. We changed the names of the characters, but people who are familiar with the movie will know who's who.

Philosophically, that could take me a lot of places.

The visual vocabulary and aesthetics of the cartoon have influenced graphic artists and advertising style since the 1940s. An example of this in advertising would be Pop Art, and more recently [seen] in the feature film 'Sin City'.

So I just flicked it off. But I still got the plaque.

You don't see luck as an accident. It's a meaningful synchronicity.
