It's stability vs. lust. It's about being married and stable and having someone there all the time as opposed to following your true desire.

I made Zack as a composite of different people that I know and different scenarios and different dilemmas that people face. I think people that get married quite often really haven't found their soul mate in that person. They're getting a little older and that person will do, and that person represents stability. Being alone can be quite scary sometimes.

It's a great place to be gay online because no one knows who you are, where you live. They only know what you tell them. Online, you can lie. It's very easy to make up a whole different person online because you have a fake name and you can be really secretive and deceitful about it.

Computers are great, and they help us out a lot, but I think they can get us into a lot of trouble. I don't want people to get drunk and go online, for starters. I think it's dangerous. Everyone uses phony names, and you just don't know who you are talking to half the time.
