It's terrible news for the community and the employees at Aldi. I'm sure it's seeking to make a structural change, but it's very unfortunate for the community.

The good news is that claims are decreasing thanks to the healthier lifestyles our employees are following.

The good news is that it is bringing a wonderful group of new employees downtown. And what we're seeing both in terms of regional and national trends is that the health care-related industries are growing and are expected to grow in the future.

This is the real story. This has always been about our community, our employees, and the loyal customers that have been so good to us over the past 20 years.

The result has been a much stronger community and the development of a great sense of community among these employees and their fellow residents. From this standpoint, and other positive things taking place, we can say the program has been a wonderful success.
