It's the one time the Board of Selectmen truly has an opportunity to assist the people of Norwood who make this town what it is -- who pay the bills.

This is our opportunity as leaders of the community to assist these residents.

This committee is sick of swallowing the fact that there isn't enough money. We don't want to do that anymore.

This is not a wish list, as some would call it. This is a needs list.

Every time that happens, it's an opportunity for the next person, ... We prepare hard. We come to the game with 45 guys, and everyone needs to be ready to go. It's tough to lose those guys at the beginning of the game, but the players played competitively and the team played competitively. Unfortunately, it's part of the game.

Against a good team, that window of opportunity is open for a very short time -- and it has to be shut immediately.
