It's the university's call what courses they will accept. Some majors are stricter than others. Some don't let the students take courses elsewhere at all.

What our students found was that they couldn't take notes fast enough. They like being able to review over and over again. They like not having the pressure of having to get all the notes down in class, and instead they're able to concentrate on the content.

Some were crying when they arrived, but the local students have really helped and have been accepting. Some students here would say they'd be their buddy.

Although the test itself is only in English, sometimes it helps students (who) read in Spanish become more comfortable to understand how the tests operate.

We know that some students don't have these options—either their district does not provide these things (preparatory classes) or they just don't have access to these kinds of things because of the money.

This is a reward for the students who worked very hard and tried their best on FCAT. It won't be as big as the pep rally but we will have food, games and the inflated bounce games.
