It's tough to replace a guy like Miroslav Satan, but we have a bunch of young guys eager to step up.

They would just follow whatever I did. They had no say in anything. Grier was an eight-year vet, and I was a rookie. Basically, it came out like I was the leader of the pack. And it just rolled.

That's the style you have to play against that team out here. You have to slow them down, play hard, physical hockey. That is what we did for a period.

We don't like losing. It seems like when we lose we come back with a better effort. We just don't want to lose two in a row.

We're battling for first place with Ottawa, so all those games are going to be huge. Then Toronto and Boston are fighting for playoff spots, and Montreal's trying to stay in. Those are all going to be huge, key games for us. Those are all four-point games.

It feels great, but the team needed this win. It was a big win for us.
