It's tough to simulate her quickness in practice. She's so quick, and we're not real quick. She sliced and diced us inside.

I don't know this to be true, but our quickness was just as quick as them, if not quicker, at certain spots. We thought it was bothering them. I don't know if they face our kind of quickness in our league. Maybe they do, I don't know. We pressure everybody pretty much that we play, just like they do. We felt it bothered them early in the game and it's something we started harping on.

We rested on last year's laurels. Other teams came right at us and we did not respond to that.

In practice, we try to simulate that stuff, but until you get out there against other guys, you try to make it work. It did tonight.

I think Brooke really stepped up her game in mid January (and) Andrea put in a ton of time in the off-season and played with the confidence of someone who put in that time.

We were 12 of 13 on free throws in the fourth quarter. That was huge.
