It's unrealistic for people to expect that the resolution will take care of itself. Without an implementation plan, most New Year's resolutions fall by the wayside.

I think it's a strong resolution and deserves bipartisan support and I believe it may be changed more but I believe as presented now it would get broad bipartisan support.

Once this resolution is passed, a tougher stage will begin and we will see what effect the board of governors' calls on Iran will have.

Passing a tough resolution or threatening Iran will not bring about the desired outcome.

If you carry this resolution and follow out all its implications and do not run away from it, you will send a Foreign Secretary, whoever he was, naked into the conference chamber.

I think this resolution will make it crystal clear as to where (city council) stands, ... It's about keeping promises.
