It's very frustrating. We're working hard and very well at practice, but it doesn't matter how you did in practice if you don't transfer it to the game.

Every game is a fresh start for us. We're not forgetting, but we're moving on. We want to take as many as we can from [Stony Brook]. Syracuse is behind us and we're going to come off hard on Saturday.

Getting a jump-start would be amazing. It gives us confidence and takes the stress off of the defense and pitching.

I don't know why we struggled to hit the ball today. We worked on hitting the outside pitches in practice all week, because we knew that is all she would throw. I don't know why struggled, but we did managed to score one run.

It was very close, to the point where I was skipping practice days at a time. When you skip four days in a row, it's hard to get yourself to go back. I went through phases where every day I wanted to quit.
