It's very upsetting. I was looking forward to playing against Rodney and being out there with him again. I learned so much from the guy. I really appreciate everything he has done in helping my career.

Rodney lived across the street from me. I used to talk to him a lot about different things. I would go over to his house, he'd come over to mine. It was a good relationship.

Even though I'm only going to wind up playing the one [preseason] game, I'm going to make the most of it, man, ... That's why I'm still out here working and practicing every day. I can't wait to go.

I'm just looking forward to playing, and if anything else comes my way it's a bonus. I'm looking to have an injury-free season and doing things for Lancashire to get us where we belong [on qualifying to play for England]

Now I look like Rodney Dangerfield. He wasn't too bad looking when he was younger.

They brought the blitz, they got in the backfield, they really controlled the line of scrimmage, ... They did a good job of containing our running game.
