I've always felt kind of a connection with dogs. It's one of those things you can't really explain.

My other big thing is chickens. I paint roosters and dogs.

I just kind of keep track of the dogs that are in all the animal shelters. They (Friends for Life) seemed like they needed a donation.

We're just working on this one little piece. We recognize that these folks need a connection to the outside world.

We recognized that people didn't have connection to the outside except by telephone. That really limits their connection to the outside to connect with family. Plus, these folks have been traumatized by this tragedy. Having them work with the volunteers to find their family is also a cathartic experience.
