I've always said if you can't run the ball, you won't be able to get any passing game going, and we couldn't tonight.

I still feel we can run the ball, but we've got find that passing game to complement and keep (opposing) guys off of our backs. We can't afford to get in long-yard situations, especially since our offense isn't geared that way.

I asked him why he didn't pick it up, run and score, ... But he knew the game was going to be over if he fell on it. He's a smart player.

If they are able to run the ball, we can't continue to do what we did with me kind of going to Randy and being over the top some of the time. You can't continue to do that.
