I've been doing this so long, it's hard to put it away. The work is not easy work, but it's satisfying work. I enjoy helping people with their lawns, gardens and animals. It's not a sit-behind-your-desk-all-day-type-job. When you work here, you get a free work-out plan.

It means a lot to me to have a family business. I think it's important to have your family name on the outside of your building. I think it says a lot to customers to be able to say they've dealt directly with Sikes himself and to know the store is not owned by some conglomerate somewhere. We have a hometown atmosphere around here, kind of like 'Cheers,' where we know most everybody's name.

We give free advice all the time. Somebody will call us up and have a question, and we'll always take the time to talk with them. They don't have to buy a thing from us. We're happy to help.

It's not my victory, it's a team victory. We had a game plan. Hard work made the difference.

It's awesome. It doesn't happen too often. So it's fun to see the team work hard and have it finally pay off.

We just laid an egg. We've still got a long way to go. We still have a lot to work on and get better at.
