I've been happy with how I've played all summer. It took a while to get my rhythm since I hadn't been on Armstrong Stadium court in quite some time.

I knew that once I could break her rhythm a little bit and keep getting enough balls back that eventually she would miss, and she did,

That's the best she's ever played against me. When she's on, she hits the ball harder than anyone on the Tour and I think you could see today her serve has improved a lot too. She's always very dangerous... I think for me it was one match too much physically. I've done really well the last few weeks and months to keep playing as well as I have and I had to have a let down at some point.

She definitely hits the ball a lot harder than she used to when I played her in the previous times. By getting more matches and more rhythm and everything, she's going to improve even more.

She started really well. No matter how well I played in the first set, I think she would have won it.

Physically, I feel extremely well, perhaps fitter than ever.
