In general, our stance is that the greatest threat to a depressed person is to receive no treatment at all.

When you get to this point, it's usually fairly clear which side is winning or losing, so one of the parties will settle. That's one of the things that's making this interesting. People are surprised it's gotten this far.

Generally, these sorts of cases settle when you get this close to an injunction or order being issued.

Treatment works, if you can get it, and if states get it right. Unfortunately, too many states are willing to risk or tolerate premature deaths.
